At WesWings and Red & Black Cafe we believe good food starts with good ingredients and suppliers.  From the beginning, we have always supported smaller local businesses like ourselves.  We know many of our customers choose us because we are not a giant corporation and are able to listen to their needs and suggestions.

The following is a list of just a few of our vendors.  We are constantly striving to increase the overall share of local companies with which we do business.

Hartford Baking Company – We recently started getting breads for Wes Wings and the Red & Black Cafe from this fantastic bakery.  Our brioche buns, focaccia and sliced breads all come baked fresh everyday

Farmer’s Cow–  This collective of local CT dairy farms supply all of our milk, cream and eggs to both locations.

Saccuzzo Coffee – The Red & Black Cafe uses this wonderful local roaster for all of our drip and espresso coffees.

The Bridge Tofu – This Middletown based company supplies all of our tofu and seitan for our vegetarian and vegan dishes including our Seitanic Wings.

Treat Farm – In the fall, we are fortunate to bring farm fresh tomatoes, corn and peppers to both locations from this Orange, CT farm.  Picked fresh sometimes even by us.
